Col. Jonathan Bender, 1st Cavalry Division senior operations and planning officer, details the First Team’s vision and concepts for readiness, modernization and People First initiatives during the division’s CAV Leadership Forum at the Killeen Civic and Conference Center in Killeen, Texas, May 20, 2021. Division brigade and battalion command teams and senior leaders attended to synchronize efforts to successfully transform the division culture and enhance results in upcoming changes to unit capabilities and structure. Having tested a few programs for the Army, the Division is ready to implement through predictability, stabilization and synchronization that Bender said was the CAV leading the way for the Army’s vision of future warfighter capabilities.
