A military serviceman in a navy blue uniform with gold lettering is kneeling on grass with a young boy, both examining what appears to be parachute or rigging equipment. The setting appears to be an outdoor public event, likely a military air show or community outreach event, with a crowd of spectators visible in the background. A tall ship's mast is visible in the far background, suggesting a waterfront or harbor venue.

This one of 15 signature events planned across America in 2012. The weeklong event commemorates the bicentennial of the War of 1812, hosting service members from the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and Royal Canadian Navy.
