The commander of the 405th Army Field Support Brigade, Col. Brad Bane, presents a farewell plaque as a gesture of appreciation to Bill Zeller May 19 at the brigade headquarters. Zeller served as the 405th AFSB’s Logistics Civil Augmentation Program senior program integrator for Africa from September 2017 until present. During that time he managed a $60 million annual contract support budget for the African continent, overseeing the sustainment of 12 forward operating sites and contingency locations in seven countries across eastern and western Africa. Zeller, who is a retired colonel with 40 years of service with the Army, has accepted a position at U.S. Army Forces Command headquarters and will be relocating to Fort Bragg, N.C.
