U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Jillian Gerasimak, transmissions system operator with 3d Supply Battalion, 3d Marine Logistics Group (MLG), participates in a tug-of-war competition during a field meet on Camp Kinser, Okinawa, Japan, May 15, 2021. 3d Supply Bn held a field meet and invited the families of Marines and Sailors to attend with the intent of increasing morale, Esprit de Corps, and camaraderie through friendly competition while adhering to COVID mitigation protocol. 3d MLG, based out of Okinawa, Japan, is a forward deployed combat unit that serves as III MEF’s comprehensive logistics and combat service support backbone for operations throughout the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility.
