31st Marine Expeditionary Unit       

U.S. Marines with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit Command element (MEU), conduct a moving communication signal while operating an ultra-light tactical vehicle on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, May 11, 2021. Marines with the 31st MEU conduct communication exercises to validate training readiness and refine inter major subordinate elements communication control. The 31st MEU, the Marine Corps’ only continuously forward-deployed MEU, provides a flexible and lethal force ready to perform a wide range of military operations as the premier crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific region.
