WASHINGTON (May 8, 2021) – Chief of Navy Reserve and Commander, Navy Reserve Force, Vice Adm. John B. Mustin talks with a Marine during the Marine Reserve Individual Ready Reserve muster May 8. Mustin and Commander, U.S. Marine Corps Forces Reserve, Lt. Gen. David G. Bellon, met later that day to discuss naval integration and Reserve support to the Tri-Service Maritime Strategy. The mission of the Navy Reserve is to provide strategic depth and deliver operational capabilities to the Navy and Marine Corps team and Joint forces, in times of peace or war.
