The Consolidated Bachelors Quarters laundry room aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif., is undergoing renovations, making it more energy efficient. The newly installed solar panels and energy-efficient boilers will also help in reaching MCAS Miramar’s goal of energy independence.
