Corey Thomas, an infantry rifleman serving with Fox Company, 2nd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, swims back to return his compressed air breathing device after he completed the helicopter crash simulator here, Aug. 27, 2012. Thomas, a 22-year-old Toronto, Ohio native, said it was like being stuck inside a steel box upside-down with water rushing up his nose.
