A Royal Australian Air Force E-7A Wedgetail, operated by No. 2 Squadron, based at RAAF Base Williamtown, Australia, approaches for a landing April 16, 2021, at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. The command-and-control aircraft traveled to Hawaii to participate in exercise Pacific Edge and provide airborne early warning support to Hawaii Air National Guard F-22 Raptors. The Wedgetail is equipped with a high-powered radar, used to monitor the battle space and provide friendly forces with an advantage over their opponents. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Staff Sgt.
