The U.S. Military Academy hosted its first professional boxing program, titled “Ring City USA,” which was nationally-televised through Twitch and NBC Sports April 22 at Hayes Gym in the Arvin Cadet Physical Development Center. The boxing event included professional bouts and fights with Army West Point boxing members competing against each other in exhibition matches. A total of eight cadets competed against each other in a four-bout matchup. Class of 2021 Cadets Lawrence Shepherd and Shane Ferry faced off in the second match with Ferry coming out the fight victorious.
