Sgt. 1st Class David Lange, an driving instructor in the 174th Infantry Brigade, directs a student driver to the beginning of the obstacle course, Aug. 21, at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J. The obstacles are meant to enhance a driver’s understanding of the handling characteristics of the MRAP, resulting in greater confidence and a decrease in rollover accidents.
