Brown, a military police officer from Corinth with the Maine Army National Guard, 488th Military Police Company in Waterville, fires an M249 Squad Automatic Weapon during training, June 6, at the Ethan Allen Training Site in Jericho, Vt. The 488th is undergoing two weeks of pre-mobilization training in preparation for their deployment to Afghanistan later this summer.
