Staff Sgt. Michael Witham, from the Fort Campbell DENTAC, administers a COVID-19 vaccine to military family member Alan Saucer at the hospital’s COVID-19 vaccine site. After speaking with his parents and doctor, the 17-year old high school student chose to get vaccinated to reduce his chances of contracting the disease and possibly spreading it to others. Currently only one COVID-19 vaccine has been authorized for use by children age 16 and older. TRICARE eligible beneficiaries may check with their local MTF for more information.
