88th Readiness Division Commanding General, Maj. General Darrell Guthrie, and 88th RD Command Sergeant Major, Command Sgt. Maj. Gregory Betty hosted a stand-down to address Extremism in the ranks. Also participating were 88th RD Deputy Commanding Generals, Brig. Gen. John Hafley, Brig. Gen. Maria Juarez. The conversation was frank, honest and emphasized the importance of the family-like connections in our U.S. Army and Army Reserve organizations and units, the fundamental necessity of respect and dignity in interactions between all Soldiers, and the commander's insistence on living the Army Values.
