A U.S. Army soldier in Operational Camouflage Pattern (OCP) uniform and face mask is crouching on a gravel surface while configuring or adjusting a portable satellite communications dish. The soldier is working on the electronic control unit mounted at the base of the dish assembly. The equipment appears to be a tactical satellite terminal used for military communications.

Alabama National Guard Spc. Anthony Hayes, 115th Expeditionary Signal Battalion, April 13, 2021 monitors the signal strength from the Tampa satellite dish that handled communications and data traffic during the Fort Knox, Kentucky, based 1st Theater Sustainment Command's expeditionary command post validation exercise at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. Hayes, whose battalion is deployed to Camp Buerhing, Kuwait, said he appreciated getting real-world, unscripted training working in the ECP validation exercise. (U.S. Army photo by Staff Sgt. Neil W.
