A U.S. Marine assigned to 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), II Marine Expeditionary Force conducts a communications signal link check with the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) prior to the live fire exercise on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune N.C., on Mar. 4, 2021. HIMARS provide a unique capability for the Marine Corps, specifically the MEUs, to easily maneuver and deploy, boosting the MEUs lethality and agility in theater.
