MIHAIL KOGALNICEANU AIRBASE, Romania—Col. Andrew Conant, Area Support Group Black Sea Commander, and Col. Jefferey A. Wade, Area Support Group Black Sea Director of Health Services lead the way in receiving COVID-19 vaccinations here. MK Airbase received over 1,000 doses of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine, which was immediately made available to all Soldiers and DoD civilians on base. Such urgency reassures our European partners and allies that we’re committed to reducing the burden of COVID-19 within host nations.
