Members of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force load supplies onto a CH-47 Chinook helicopter during the Shizuoka Disaster Drill at the Shizuoka airport Sept. 2. During the drill, the airport was used as a command and control post as well as a logistics hub where exercise participants could distribute aid to the Shizuoka prefecture.
