SAN DIEGO (April 1, 2021) Boatswain’s Mate Seaman Apprentice Austin Schneider, from Clarksville, Texas, receives a COVID-19 vaccination screening form from Hospitalman Gabriela Kaufman, from Chicago, in the hangar bay aboard the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72). Abraham Lincoln administered the 100,000th first-dose vaccine in the U.S. Third Fleet area of operations during a mass COVID-19 voluntary vaccination event aboard the ship while moored at Naval Air Station North Island.
