Sgt. John Baker, Tomb Sentinel, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard), places a rose at one of the four crypts of the Unknowns during his last walk ceremony, Aug. 31, in Arlington National Cemetery, Va. Placing a rose at the foot of each crypt signifies a Sentinels' last and final honor before they leave the Tomb for their next assignment. Baker served at the Tomb for 54 months and will report to Fort Stewart, Ga. later this year.
