SAN DIEGO (Mar. 16, 2021) Culinary Specialist 3rd Class Lisbeth Feliciano builds a salad at the salad bar in Naval Medical Center San Diego's (NMCSD) galley. NMCSD recognizes National Nutrition Month annually in March. This year’s theme is “Personalize Your Plate,” reminding people that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to nutrition and health. NMCSD's mission is to prepare service members to deploy in support of operational forces, deliver high quality healthcare services, and shape the future of military medicine through education, training, and research. NMCSD employs more than 6,000 active duty military personnel, civilians, and contractors in Southern California to provide patients withworld-class care anytime, anywhere.
