Pfc. Gino Garcia, Platoon 1021, Company B, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, is looking to use his experiences in the Marine Corps to become a police officer like his mother. Garcia lost his mother at the age of 6. The Chicago native will be returning home after completing his training to serve in the Marine Corps Reserve and attend school at Illinois State University.
