Service members with 2nd Marine Logistics Group’s disbursing office honored Jacquelyn W. Southerland, a financial technician supervisor with the office, for her 33 years of service to the military community during a retirement ceremony aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., Aug. 30, 2012. Southerland, who is known in the office for her strong, down-to-earth personality, used her intimate knowledge of the Marine Corps’ financial system to lead generations of Marines working to support the financial needs of the service members aboard the base.
