Charles “Chip” Rock, met with Hampton Roads area Public Works Department employees March 3, to recognize them for their accomplishments during the Lincoln Military Housing Wadsworth Shores water main rupture that occurred Feb. 2. Public Works employees responded expeditiously to the emergency, working to insure that the more than 600 families living in the complex had their water restored in a timely manner.
