Trainees from the 326th Training Squadron are given instructions by their military training instructor prior to a run honoring Master Sgt. John Chapman, a combat controller and Medal of Honor recipient, at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas March 4, 2021. Fifteen flights in total participated including Special Warfare flights in remembrance of Chapman who was killed during a fierce battle against al Qaida fighters in Takur Ghar, Afghanistan, on this day 19 years ago. The 737th Training Group is home to the special warfare training annex used to train combat controllers and special warfare airmen that was renamed after Chapman last year.
