Brig. Gen. Justin Swanson, deputy commanding general, 1st Theater Sustainment Command, speaks at the Equal Opportunity Leaders Course graduation at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, Feb. 26, 2021. Swanson remarked on how far the Army has come in recognizing the importance of equal opportunity. “We’ve come a long way from the Army of old. What were once known as traditions and rites of passage are now considered harassment and bullying. As equal opportunity leaders, you are our Soldiers' first level of support.
