CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (Feb. 17, 2021) Capt. Christopher Jason, commanding officer of Naval Air Station (NAS) Corpus Christi, Texas, rescues cold-stunned green sea turtles from his kayak near the waterfront at Naval Air Station (NAS) Corpus Christi, Texas. Sailors, civilians and family members worked with the Texas Parks and Wildlife department and the National Park Service to transport the turtles to safety. The NAS Corpus Christi environmental team lead the multi-agency wildlife protection effort and rescued more than 600 turtles. (U.S. Navy photo by Command Master Chief Eric Kinnaman)
