Family members of soldiers deployed with Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 285th Aviation Reconnaissance Brigade, find framed photographs of their soldiers before attending the battle update brief at the Silverbell Army Reserve Training Center, Aug. 18. Although, this may not be common practice, 1-285th ARB is trying out something new in hopes of reaching out to family members of deployed personnel and keeping them just as informed as the command staff and soldiers downrange.
