    INDIAN OCEAN (Dec. 31, 2020) –U.S. Navy Boatswain’s Mate 2nd Class Avery Cutler-Greyer directs a landing craft, air cushion, assigned to Assault Craft Unit 5, during well-deck operations aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8). The Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group and the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit are conducting operations in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of responsibility.
