Naval Air Station Oceana, Va. (Feb. 9, 2021) Chief of Navy Reserve, Vice Adm. John Mustin, receives a pre-flight briefing from Lt. Nicholas Danforth, assigned to Fighter Squadron Composite (VFC) 12, during a visit to discuss various topics, including warfighting readiness, COVID-19 vaccinations, and the status of the Navy Reserve. Reserve Sailors assigned to VFC-12 provide strategic depth and operational support to the U.S. Navy by training and qualifying F/A-18A-D aviators while maintaining warfighting readiness.
