Sgt. 1st Class Morgan Smith, a 1st Infantry Division career counselor, was named the Secretary of the Army Career Counselor of the Year for the reserve component during a virtual ceremony Feb. 4, 2021. She received the award from Maj. Gen. Douglas A. Sims II, the division commander. Sgt. 1st Class Jackie Lord, a career counselor with the U.S. Army Medical Command, received top honors for the active component.
