Marines prepare for an aerial refuel of a CH-53E Super Stallion from a KC-130J Hercules while flying over Marine Corps Air Station New River, North Carolina, Feb. 3, 2021. Aircraft assigned to Marine Heavy Helicopter464 (HMH-464) were refueled by a KC-130J to perform high altitude refueling on a CH-53E Super Stallion. The KC-130J offers a 60,000 pound fuel capacity that it can allocate between its own offload capacity using its wing and external tanks while in the air.
