    31st Marine Expeditionary Unit       

    U.S. Marines with Battalion Landing Team 3/4, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), walk to the flight deck aboard amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6) in the Philippine Sea, Feb. 1, 2021. Marines aboard the USS America regularly conduct raids to maintain their readiness to respond to contingencies.
