A Soldier from 1st Battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, carries out preventative maintenance checks and services on the top of an M1 Abrams tank, Jan. 29, 2021, to insure it is ready for Iron Union 14 at Al Hamra Training Center in the United Arab Emirates. Iron Union is a recurring, bilateral exercise between Task Force Spartan and the United Arab Emirates Land Forces, designed to strengthen military-to-military relationships through a combined government approach to complex national security challenges.
