Medics with the Michigan Army National Guard (MIARNG) attend a National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) certification course, Fort Custer Training Center, Augusta, Mich., Jan 27, 2021. These medical professionals are required to complete sustainment training every 24 months. The MIARNG Office of the State Surgeon General, in coordination with the MIARNG Medical Detachment, recently offered training based on NREMT criteria.
