Yeoman (Submarines) 2nd Class Brayden Chung-Yuen, a native of Hilo, Hawaii, receives the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal after a successful 3-year tour at Commander, Submarine Group 7. Mastering a broad cross-section of tasks, Chung-Yuen was responsible for the command’s $1.5 million travel budget, government travel card program, personal awards program and pay and personnel program. He redeploys to Oahu this week to serve on the Virginia-class attack submarine USS Illinois (SSN 786) with the same degree of superior service he displayed at CSG7. (U.S. Navy photo by Lt.
