Sergeant Maj. Michael S. Johnson, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit’s (MEU) Sergeant Major, receives his second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at Camp Lejeune, N.C. Feb. 1, 2021. In anticipation of an upcoming deployment, the 24th MEU is the first organization of its kind to be granted unit-wide distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine as part of a standardized and coordinated strategy prioritization by the Department of Defense.
