Jim Stroup, from the Louis Berger Group, leads design review discussions in Almaty, Kazakhstan, assisted by an interpreter. Before the Middle East District requests proposals for the counternarcotics projects, it meets with stakeholders from the U.S. Central Command and the host nations’ using agencies to make sure the documents meet their requirements. The Louis Berger Group is under contract with the Middle East District to support the planning and design work.
