Col. Glenn Nissley, 213th Regional Group commander and a Lancaster, Pa., native, opens an award ceremony to recognize Mack Truck Inc. and the United Auto Workers with the Patriot Award for creating a work environment supportive of National Guard and Army Reserve soldiers. "We can't say enough good things about employers who have hired Guardsmen and Reservists and allow them to do their duty and perform their service to our Commonwealth and our Country," said Nissley. He added that Guardsmen have civilian skills that are beneficial in a combat environment.
