The crew of Coast Guard Cutter Alex Haley conducting a drill on board the cutter's fantail in the Bearing Sea, Dec. 13, 2020. This patrol was heavily focused on conducting drills to maintain the crew's mission readiness. They completed drills for potential fires, flooding, or toxic gas leaks. Pilothouse teams practiced emergency response procedures during man overboard drills, and abandon ship drills.
