American Soldiers enjoy traditional meat pies at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, Oct. 31, before learning about the historic World War I Battle of Beersheba. Australian Lt. Col. Peter Curran, from Sydney taught the Americans about the famous cavalry charge, and with the help of American Lt. Col Randolph Duke, connected the histories of the American and Australian partnership throughout military history.
