NAVAL STATION ROTA, Spain (Jan. 15, 2021) LT Jason Johnson, assigned to U.S. Naval Hospital (USNH) Rota, Spain, accepts receipt of the first coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine shipment at USNH Rota, Spain, from Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Gary Thomas on 15 January, 2021. The vaccine will be administered in phases based on priority levels to reduce the burden of COVID-19 in high-risk populations and simultaneously mitigate risk to military operations.
