Eric Rodriguez, a combat medic with the California National Guard’s Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1-185th Infantry Battalion, writes the return date for a first responder’s next COVID-19 vaccination after the first shot was administered in Sacramento, California, Jan. 8, 2021. Since Jan. 7 nearly 300 first responders have been given the first dosage of the COVID-19 vaccine by Cal Guard members and nurses with Sacramento County Public Health at the drive-thru site.
