    Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Nicole Mattera and Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Caleb Newbill, Sailors assigned to Branch Health Clinic Souda Bay, positively verify the temperature monitor for Naval Support Activity Souda Bay’s initial shipment of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, Jan. 9, 2021. The vaccine will be administered in phases based on DoD priority levels to reduce the burden of COVID-19 in high-risk populations and simultaneously mitigate risk to military operations. Mattera is a native of Palatine, Ill. Newbill is a native of Covington, Tenn.
