U.S. Airmen of the 125th Civil Engineering Squadron and the 202nd Red HORSE squadron maintain the Aircraft Arresting System on the airfield of the 125th Fighter Wing, Jan. 10, 2021. The AAR is used to save lives by preventing aircraft from overrunning runways in cases where the pilot is unable to stop the aircraft during landing or aborted takeoff operations. Each quarter, Airmen from the 125th FW and 202nd Red Horse collaborate to ensure proper maintenance of the system. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Staff Sgt. Cesar Cordero)
