    Army Reserve Col. Melody Mount is among 10 military officers who serve as Operation Warp Speed liaisons to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention regional coordinators, assisting states with their plans to administer COVID-19 vaccines. The Atlanta-based officers are part of a team of about 100 Department of Defense Operation Warp Speed personnel charged with distributing a safe and effective vaccine to the American people.
