CINCU, Romania – Chief Warrant Officer 2 Carson Cornell, HH-60W Combat Rescue Helicopter pilot, 5th Battalion, 101st Aviation Regiment, “Eagle Assault,” conducts an after action review with Romanian Soldiers following nine-line medevac simulations here on Dec. 16. The Romanian 634th Force Protection Battalion will soon deploy to Afghanistan in support of NATO efforts, and in partnership with 5-101 was able to enhance interoperable aviation communications with the hopes of more effectively completing their mission and making it home safely.
