Petty Officer 2nd Class Nolan Sobania checks the system configuration on the ship's WSN-7 internal navigation system aboard guided-missile destroyer USS Shoup (DDG 86). Shoup and the rest of Carrier Strike Group 9 are underway off the coast of southern California participating in Composite Training Unit Exercise, an exercise designed to enhance the interoperability of the strike group.
