NORFOLK, Va. (Dec. 15, 2020) Tugboats assist as the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) gets underway for sea trials. Kearsarge is completing a Planned Maintenance Availability (PMA) which was executed by General Dynamics-NASSCO Norfolk and managed by Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC). MARMC provides surface ship maintenance, management and oversight of private sector maintenance and fleet technical assistance to ships in the Mid-Atlantic region. (U.S. Navy Photo by Hendrick L.
