201018-A-HS292-1096 ARABIAN GULF (Oct. 18, 2020) The Qatari Emiri Navy fast-attack craft (Q06) and an MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter, attached to Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HMS) 48 participate in Eastern Defender 20 in the Arabian Gulf, Oct. 18. Eastern Defender 20 is the capstone in a series of bilateral maritime security exercises between the Qatar Armed Forces and U.S. Naval Forces Central Command, conducted to enhance interoperability and warfighting readiness, fortify military-to-military relationships and advance operational capabilities of all participating units.
